SHIPPING & DELIVERY

RETURN POLICY, REFUNDS, & PRODUCT CARE

Return items in 100% condition within 10 business days from purchase 

for refund.

RETURN SHIPPING FEES ARE CURRENTLY THE BUYERS' RESPONSIBILITY. 

 

While each piece is diligently examined before packaging and shipping, sometimes unfortunate events may occur during delivery.

 

 Items may shift in flight or become damaged while being loaded and transferred to your location. If your purchase arrives broken or damaged due to shipping, I will happily process a full refund and/or ship you a new piece given proper (and honest) proof of damage.

Faux leather is very easy to tear, genuine leather is easy to stain, and my wood pieces .... while sturdy... may be subject to surface scratches. Therefore, you must be gentle and take care of your items while putting them on and taking them off.

 

YOU are responsible for the care of your item.

YOU are also responsible for reading the product descriptions for hat and jewelry purchases.

Please ensure that you know your cranial circumference BEFORE you purchase a hat item. I will not be held responsible for hats that do not fit comfortably on the wearer.

 

However, I am willing to give both partial and full refunds on a case-by-case basis. 

 

Wesley James Co. will not be held responsible for any damages after removal from packaging. Unless the damage is caused by shipping, I will not replace items for bent or broken metal, tears, stains, scratches, or any other damages caused or created by the hand of the purchaser (that's YOU).

 

Keep your earring card nearby so that you can place your earrings back on the card upon removal. This will keep your pieces safe from damage or getting lost. Also, if you can remember, be careful to not touch your items with soiled fingers. Make-up and oil residue may cause leather pieces to stain. Brass products are known to tarnish a little over time, but a good vinegar bath, coupled with a microfiber cloth should do the trick to remove any residue.

 

 Please note, that all of my pieces are handcrafted/hand-assembled. I am one person, and I DO make mistakes from time to time. That means my hands, and only my hands have created/assembled your piece......usually in the wee hours of the night.

 

Please, do take care of your purchase as I have taken great care to design them, especially for you.

PRODUCT MATERIALS/SKIN SENSITIVITY

I know what it's like to have sensitive ears! Trust me. 

​

Some folks can wear nickel-free metals and others can't. I create my jewelry pieces with brass, gold-plated metals, alloys, wood, dyed and recycled genuine leather, faux leather, and sea glass. Hats are usually made of wool and felt materials.

​

ALWAYS READ THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION BEFORE PURCHASING.

I do my best to offer hypoallergenic non-metal options with specific designs. These designs will have hypoallergenic alternatives offered in the drop-down menus on their product pages. 

​

With that said, you know your skin sensitivity and your ears.

Lindsay Graham and Wesley James Co. will not be held responsible for any rashes, bleeding, oozing, or skin sensitivity issues that could incur from my products. Please contact your dermatologist for any questions regarding skin irritation.

Please do not purchase an item if you're allergic to specific materials.

BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY

READ THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS BEFORE PURCHASING.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PURCHASE PRODUCTS THAT DO NOT CAUSE ALLERGIC REACTIONS.

 

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ORDER HAT SIZES THAT FIT YOUR MEASUREMENTS.  I INCLUDE ALL HAT-SIZE DIMENSIONS IN THE DESCRIPTION OF EACH PRODUCT.

 

IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF YOUR HAT SIZE, ANY LOCAL HAT SHOP CAN PROPERLY MEASURE YOUR CIRCUMFERENCE.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

Once I have created a label and dropped your package in the mail, I'll send you the tracking number via e-mail.  If you do not receive your package within 3-5 business days, please contact me. 

​

I'm fairly diligent in checking my packages and ensuring they have made it to their destinations. So, it is likely I'll contact you before you contact me.

REFUNDS

All refunds are subject to the circumstances.

 

Remember, I am ONE person that solely owns WJC. I'm human and I DO make mistakes from time to time. If your purchase arrives broken or damaged due to shipping, I will happily process a full refund and/or ship you a new piece given proper (and honest) proof of damage. Buyer has 10 days to return item at their own expense from day of purchase

However, if you've broken the piece (jewelry, hat, etc.) AFTER you have worn it or removed it from the packaging, there will be NO refund.

​

If you break it........you bought it, friend.
