Our Story

First established in 2020, from cutting earrings on a Cricut machine to hand-burning hats, we were a part of the DIY post-Covid society realizing we were capable of more than we ever imagined.

We are a curated in-home boutique rooted in Magnolia, Texas. As we move forward into the next era of WJC, we find ourselves continuously inspired by the romance of a time gone by. Think prohibition-era charm, 1940s nostalgia, and the quiet mysticism of the open range. Everything here will feel like it carries a story older than you.

Here at Wesley James Co., we remember what used to be good, and intend on providing a little nostalgia with a modern twist.

My name is Lindsay Graham and I am the owner and founder of Wesley James Co. Much of my childhood was made up of the creaky sounds of my grandmother opening up the screen door, the smell of fresh fried chicken in the kitchen, naps in the backroom with the breeze blowing through linen curtains, and a WWII veteran Paw Paw with a cigarette and cup of coffee in his hands on the daily. Long bed Chevy Silverados and war-time stories inside wood paneled walls. Life was magical.

But beyond that, eras before seem to seep into my life, and as I grew older a fascination with things that used to be good took hold. Thoughtfully curated, useful, and handmade were the best. Life was blackberries picked fresh off a picket fence and thrown in the sugar bowl for pie.

That feeling is what I'm chasing with everything I put in this shop.

Our handcrafted hats are the heart of what we do. Each one is shaped with intention and finished with details that set it apart: hand-stitched turquoise, rich leather trim, delicate lace, and gold metallic embroidery. These aren't hats you pick off a rack. Our jewelry follows the same philosophy, layered and soulful, made to be worn by someone who doesn't follow a straight road.

Some of what you'll find here I designed myself, by hand. I sketch my own patterns, and every line is drawn with a specific feeling in mind: freedom, originality, and that western luxury that's hard to put into words but you know it when you see it.

The wildflower pattern you'll see throughout the shop is one I drew myself. It became the foundation for the Wildflower Collection, which includes scarves, skirts, and the Wildflower Slip Dress. Each piece in that collection carries that same hand-drawn detail into something you can actually wear. It's personal to me, and I hope it feels that way to you too. The wildflower has always meant something to me. There's a beauty in the way it grows without permission, blooming wherever the seed plants it. It doesn't need the right conditions or the perfect soil. It just grows, and it's stunning because of that. That's the spirit I want every piece to carry.

Every pattern I create is chosen carefully. Nothing ends up here by accident. I want the pieces to feel like they represent something, like you picked it because it said something about who you are.

We've grown to carry goods that match the mood: rustic candles, curated finds with old-world character, and pieces that feel like they came from somewhere worth remembering. If it's on our shelves, it belongs here.
